The Endless Mountains 2012-2013 Endless Mountains Maple Queen Macie Karhnak.

The Endless Mountains Maple Syrup Producers Association held its annual banquet and Maple Queen Contest on June 7, 2012 at the Bonanza Restaurant in Wysox, Pennsylvania.

After making a presentation to the audience, demonstrating the contestant’s knowledge of maple syrup making, confidence and desire to represent the Maple Syrup industry,  Macie Karhnak was Crowned the 2012 -2013 Endless Mountains Maple Queen. She will be seen throughout the area over the next year promoting Maple Syrup Products.

Karhnak will go on the Pennsylvania State Maple Tour in September to compete for the Title of Pennsylvania Maple Sweetheart. The 2012 Pennsylvania Maple tour is being hosted by the Northwest Pennsylvania Maple Association this year.

Karhnak is from Springville, Pa., and is a junior at Mountain View High School. She raises and shows goats competing for the Schooley 4-H Club, loves softball and helps with many community activities.
